I came here recently to play darts in preparation for Corporate Challenge. The venue is well lit, has a great number of dart boards, and there was a musical group rehearsing for a performance while we were there too. I was really impressed with the music!
The bar had some pitchers of water and glasses for self-serve water, but also decent food and beverage service in the Canteen room we were in too, which was pretty helpful.
The building is new and really transit accessible. There is also ample parking and a great sidewalk approach as well. -

I came for an occasion of mixed emotions; a Celebration of Life. The parking lot is large so it was good we didn't need to worry about finding a spot. When we went inside, to the left is a coat area where people can hang their own coats and it seemed pretty big. There were signs directing people to the 2 events in the building.
It was very easy to find the room as we turned left and saw the open doors. On the right were the men's and women's washrooms. The women's washroom was large, bright, and clean. In the room, there was table set up at the front for the guest book and basket for those wishing to leave a card.
The room for our event was large with close to 20 tables and chairs set up. There was a table near the podium and a very large screen that could be used for slideshows. The laptop was at the very front of the room so people had to walk there from the podium. On the side of the room was a set up for jugs of water and glasses.
On a cold day, the room temperature was comfortable and the sound traveled well throughout the room so everyone could hear. At the end of the event, there were tables set up for a lunch. The lunch was a variety of sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and dessert squares. The only complaint was it was a bit dark to see but then someone turned on all the lights and that made it much better.
I felt comfortable here and would consider this venue when planning an event. -

The new location is beautiful, One star.
They occasionally have live music, one more star.
And pretty much down hill from there. The food is....terrible beyond belief.
I ordered clam chowder. Literally was the consistency of mash potatoes and paint.
And that would have probably tasted better.
Fish and chips have been deep fried for days on end, and even the pop tastes flat.
I think newer members would exist if the legion could keep up with the times and at the very least have some decent food to offer.
